Terms & Conditions for Online Lessons

Technical Requirements

The student must have a computer, laptop or equivalent, equipped with video camera, speakers and microphone. The student will need to download the latest version of Skype (please check System Requirements). Alternatively, other platforms (e.g., Wechat, Google meet etc) could be used, as long as the quality suits the needs.
 
The student has to make sure that the place where the equipment will be located will be quiet and convenient for work. 

A new student will be allowed to take one free trial lesson (45 min) in order to check the quality of the connection, before registering for Course or one-off lesson.

Lesson Types

Students may request for:
 
  • One-off lesson(s), or:
     
  • Regular lessons (Violin Course), which lasts from 1 month (four lessons) up to unlimited

Violin Course

1. The course duration is not strictly limited. It depends on the student's intention to progress. The student takes a minimal course duration of 1 (one) month, which includes 4 (four) lessons conducted once a week during the month.
 
2. The student receives a confirmed lesson time slot only upon one month's fee payment, which includes 4 (four) lessons.
 
3. The student could terminate his/her course any time, after consuming the fees paid.

Course Fees

4. The student pays monthly course fee before the first day of any subsequent month.
For matters related to fees and available payment methods the student should contact the teacher.

5. Fees paid are not refundable or transferable, unless the lessons are canceled by the teacher.

One-off lesson(s)

6. Students may request one-off lesson or lessons, for which higher then the course fees apply. The frequency will be determined by the student and will depend on the teacher’s availability. (This lesson plan is suitable for students, who intend to travel or have commitments, which do not allow them to adhere to a regular lesson time schedule).

7. Payment for one-off  lesson must be made not less then 24 hours before the lesson time.

Attendance

8. The student attends online lessons according to his/her arrangement with the teacher, requested and confirmed by e-mail or message.

9. Students, who want to reschedule lesson(s), have to advise the teacher by e-mail at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.

10. There will not be any additional replacement lesson if the student fails to attend an arranged replacement lesson for whatever reason.

11. If the teacher fails to teach the lesson, he has to give a replacement lesson, seeking agreement about the day and time.

Lesson Calendar

13. Students take 4 (four) lessons every month, according to pre-arranged day/time. 

Terms & Conditions

14. The teacher reserves the right to change any of the above terms and conditions. The teacher has to advise the students about changes with T&C minimal of one month before they take effect.
